Volunteers transform route to the River
Involving local people in improving a park can revitalise a green space through addressing local needs. Volunteers are key to this bringing enthusiasm and energy to make things happen.
Local volunteers and Your Park team at Norfolk Crescent Green
During August and September, local residents and students from the University of Bath took on the challenge of improving access to the riverside path. Led by Joe McKenna of Parkwork the team successfully built and installed a set of wooden steps. No longer will residents have to navigate a slippery slope in poor weather, making this route far more accessible for local people to enjoy, Thank you to BANES Council for funding this activity and to all those who took part.
